“Dead Of Winter”

Season after season, year after year, the residents of this graveyard have lain in rest for many years. Although some are as recent as 2020, some of the people buried here go back as far as 1716. At the time of the first burial, the surrounding land was farmland. There was an early amusement park nearby. Since then, the area has not only been incorporated into city limits, but has also developed into a close-knit, blue-collar community.

And while the world seems to continue on with its day-to-day business, these residents lie in eternal rest as a small but important reminder of our past, what we started out as, and where, eventually, we will all end up. They have not only found the secret to life, but the key to immortal peace. There is no hatred, no despisement, just peace.
