Country Stroll

Life can get hectic and stressful. Sometimes, we need to get away. Not for a vacation, but just for a breather. I find that going for a nice long Country Stroll is the best way for me to recharge my batteries. It gets my creative juices flowing, and in the moment nothing else matters. It allows me to let my mind wander about the things I come across. I wonder how many people have walked this very path and never stopped to admire the scenery. I consider how many horses were kept here and what their purpose was. They could have been riding horses for leisure or working horses for pulling equipment. I also wonder what the basement may have been used for. So many questions to ponder. My grandfather taught me to always be inquisitive and open-minded. That is how you learn. That advice has taught me so much about the world we live in. Come to think of it, my grandparents always had a painting of a big red barn in their kitchen. That must be why I’m so drawn to them today.
