While most of the fort attempts to get some rest, Fort Mifflin never truly sleeps. You take your post upon the rampart. It's cold, and the wind is whipping the rain through the air. As you pace upon the battered rampart, you carefully watch every step you take in the thick mud.

You must keep alert throughout the night without so much as the companion of light, for that could give away your position to the enemy. You hear the occasional rings of hammers as engineers repair the damage caused when fired on. As you scan the dark Delaware River, you see anchored British Naval ships silhouetted against the horizon. You are constantly listening for the soft splashing of oars coming from potential approaching enemy rowboats attempting to make landfall. You are the first line of defense because you are a Sentry.
