Siege Weekend 2026

Just announced! On Saturday, November 14th, and Sunday, November 15th, I shall once more pass through the historic gates of Fort Mifflin to cover its Annual Siege Weekend, the fortress’s flagship event, as we commemorate the 249th anniversary of the greatest bombardment of the American Revolution. Step back into the year 1777 and meet the soldiers and civilians who keep the spirit of that desperate struggle alive; hear the crack of muskets and the thunder of cannon, witness living history, visit with demonstrators and special guests, and discover the amusements of 18th-century toys and MORE. Guided tour and battle times shall be announced during the week of the event. And should you spy me wandering among the ramparts, camera in hand, fear not—come forth and say hello!
